Laze pri Predgradu is a settlement on the left bank of the river Kolpa in the Kočevje municipality in southern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Vitus and belongs to the Stari trg ob Kolpi parish. It is a late Romanesque single naved building with a rounded apse and a belfry that was greatly rebuilt and refurbished over the centuries.[3]
